BioPSI is research-informed, not research-inflated. Of course the evidence matters, but promising data is not the same as certainty. Our formulations are built through disciplined interpretation of peer reviewed scientific findings, their practical relevance to long-term health-span and quality of life, and respect for the limits of what current science can and cannot say.

Meaningful support rarely comes from a single ingredient or one overloaded formula. It comes from complementary roles working across different biological functions and time horizons. That is why BioPSI is structured as a coordinated system rather than an all-in-one product.

How BioPSI Evaluates Ingredients

Every ingredient considered for a BioPSI formulation is rigorously evaluated across several dimensions:

  • Evidence quality — Is the research credible, relevant, and proportionate to the intended role?
  • System coherence — Does this ingredient belong in this formulation, elsewhere in the system, or not at all?
  • Delivery logic — Is the form, timing, and use pattern appropriate to the purpose it is meant to serve?
  • Role clarity — Does the ingredient have a clear reason to be present?
  • Practical value — Does it contribute meaningfully, or does it only add hype?

Formulation Philosophy

BioPSI is built around dedicated formulation discipline, not trend-chasing.

  • No proprietary blends — Ingredients should be understood and clearly visible, not hidden behind vague labels. 
  • Transparent intent — Each formulation should have a clear purpose, and that purpose should be understandable and recognized as valuable.
  • Deliberate separation of roles — Products are kept distinct to preserve coherence and avoid the very real compromises of forcing everything into one formula.
  • Structure over trend — Ingredients are not added for novelty. Changes are made only when scientific evidence and formulation logic justify them.

 

Enteric Coating

An enteric coating is a specialized “barrier” applied to oral medications, such as tablets or capsules, and is widely used within the pharmaceutical industry. The term “enteric” refers to the small intestine, defining the coating’s primary goal: to keep the medication intact as it passes through the highly acidic environment of the stomach. This layer is engineered to ensure the drug only dissolves and releases its active ingredient after it has safely moved beyond the stomach and into the upper digestive tract. Though not yet widely used in the supplement and nutraceutical industry at this time (likely due to cost and lower standards for dosage claims), this same technology is just as valuable and highly important to gain optimal efficacy and precise dosing.

The digestive system presents two major challenges that enteric coatings are designed to overcome, primarily related to the stomach’s harsh conditions. Stomach acid, which has a very low pH (typically 1.5 to 3.5), can severely degrade both pharmaceutical and natural compounds. Compounds sensitive to acid would be rendered ineffective if released prematurely in the stomach, and the actual difference in bio-absorption can be as stark as only absorbing 2% of the active ingredient(s) if using a standard capsule or pill vs. nearly 100% absorption in the intestinal track if using enteric coating! This is the very reason many prescription drugs specifically state “DO NOT CUT OR BREAK” or carry the label “DELAYED RELEASE”, as the coating ensures that the full dose of the compound remains viable until it reaches the small intestine, where it can be properly absorbed. Without this protective layer, the body would receive a significantly reduced therapeutic dose, compromising treatment efficacy. This pH-triggered mechanism ensures the compound reaches its intended absorption site in its active form, is released exactly where it is intended to be absorbed, and delivers the intended dosage not a mere fraction of it.
